This weekly class curated by Left Edge Theatre's Artistic Director, Argo Thompson will explore contemporary plays by emerging and established playwrights. Offered on a drop in basis. Plays in consideration include The Flick by Annie Baker, Dance Nation by Claire Baron, Admissions and Significant Other by Joshua Harmon, Oslo by J.T. Rogers, Angels in America by Tony Kushner, The Thanksgiving Play by Larrisa FastHorse, How to Transcend a Happy Marriage and To Peter Pan on Her 70th Birthday by Sarah Rule, among others.

Argo Thompson has produced over 100 plays in Northern California, he is an award winning Director and sought-after public speaker, theatre instructor and consultant whose clients include The Center for Non-Profit Leadership, Marin Community Foundation, Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival, Napa Valley Performing Arts Center, and the California Arts Council. He has served as the Communications Director of Theatre Bay Area, Executive Director of Marin Arts Council, Executive / Artistic Director of 6th Street Playhouse and Artistic Director of Actors Theatre of Sonoma County. He is currently the Artistic Director of Left Edge Theatre and Young Actors Studio at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts.
